The Magical World of Harry Potter
This blog is for those who live in the world of Harry Potter! It is for those who are captivated by the wizardry series created by J.K. Rowling. For all those who sneer at the fantasy world of Harry Potter, all I can say is, you have no idea what you are missing! As for the rest, I have just two words to say to you, "Tuck In!"

yup - I believe the same thing. In fact, the first Chapter "The Boy Who Lived", I have always maintained is the most important chapter of the series. Perhaps the last chapter will be:
"The Boy who died" ?
We're going back to Godric's Hollow!
Although I am not very sure about Halloween necessarily playing a very big part in the ending, I do think that JKR needs to clear the mystery abt Godric's Hollow. Plus, at the end of HBP, Harry expresses a strong desire to visit Godric's Hollow. Needless to say, Ron and Hermione will accompany him. Now, all that remains to be seen is whether Godric's Hollow is where the end will be, considering that it was the beginning!!! Will the Hollow become a Deathly Hallow?
Godric's Hollow has always been a real mystery I agree... I think I am going to base my next post on Godric's Hollow. There are so many unanswered questions regarding Godric's Hollow that go unexplored because JK doesn't bring it up too often, or at least she brings the mention in the most unconsequential times... :) Let's see.
I think, man dont you think.... :-)
you know what, you really should think on the lines of writing a book, especially something with soaring imagination. i think you could spin a real winner!
Hey Chaitali thanks... I shall keep that in mind! :-)
I don't know about the halloween part, but I think we all agree that this book will go back to Godric's Hollow. Then again, Harry Potter without Hogwarts isn't Harry Potter. So I have a hunch he'll probably go back to the Hollow towards the end of the book.
The Halloween part still doesn't fit. I know, JKR has a fetish for esoteric terms, and yet I'm not quite convinced.
My Oh My!!! Only when you feel that Hermione has shown enough of her genius; she throws in another curve dive. This girl does not cease to amaze me.
Another take on the deathly hallows is the prophecy. "One cannot live while the other survives" Its a blessing (a hallow) but is also deathly because, Harry would have to sacrifice himself to kill the other (Voldemort).
I know Hermione will disagree, but I think I am right here... :)
No Remus... that's just my opinion... and it's definitely not full proof... The none can live part of the prophecy is quite mystifying in itself... and you have a point... :) But I just don't want to think that the title of the concluding book of such an enthrawling series will be based on a part of the prophecy! It's just a personal belief thing! :)
Awesome post! Ms Granger definitely brims with infinite knowledge of the more magical world.
But then, there's this small doubt I have. 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' certainly indicated that the book is about a thing but in actuality, it did not have as much to do with the goblet as with a certain inter-school competition.
So, QED, the title - by making it look as if the certain objet was essential to its theme - became a little misleading in itself. You agree?
Well Jimmy I am very sure that the Deathly Hallows has an entirely different meaning that what any of us are going to think of... but we can always try to think like JK right?
I cant believe July is 4 months away!!! The mystery is excruciating.
you will njoi this, if u havent read it already -

My prediction of how the last book goes.
Disclaimer: Spoilers might appear by co-incidence.
Dumbledore isn't truly dead. He is actually, physically, but the painting in the Principals room! Does that make any sense? All the past headmasters have a portrait, very capable of making sense and providing useful information.
Dumbledore knows of this and hence asks Snape to kill him thus breaking the Dark Lords ranks.
Harry Potter must destroy seven (portions) of voldermort's soul. If I am not mistaken two have been destroyed and they know where four others most likely are. The last remaining one, is inside Hari Putter and in destroying the bad guy, he must give up his life?
It's just a possibility, speculation, but I doubt it's so mysterious. I know I am atleast half right in this prediction. Time will tell.
